Two minutes from now
this will be nothing more than an echo,
some words that someone said
meaningless, empty of content.
And on that moment, some of you
may remember a word or two, a sigh
a line at the most.
But it’s not about remembering,
or feeling, or knowing, no.
this is far more than that,
see, this is about you.

Author's Comments

I would like to dedicate this to all of my friends here at DeviantART. This is just a little thing I wrote to show you guys how much you mean to me. I will not mention names, there's no need to - you all know who you are.

 may you always know love,
Omri.

It is an echo filled with our tender friendship and love for our dear, dear friends! Thank you very much, Omri, you know how very much it means to me to know that you care.

I really like the message here.

Some days I write those words, others they write me.
:iconwonderfulrachel:
just as my mother looks forwards to sundays at 9PM, I look forwards to the days when you pop up on my devwatch. Because I know that what I read will undoubtedly affect me for the day to come, whether it's in a positive way or a negative way. And the thing is, it doesn't matter which way, whether it makes me more thoughtful, or more upbeat - the point is that it affects me. It makes me care. And it changes my point of view.

As a writer, I think that the best possible compliment is not "beautiful enjambement" or "nice lexical choice" - it's "that piece of writing affected me".

And it did.

So I shall give you the greatest compliment I can: this poem made me feel.

it may be more than you could ask, but it's what you deserve.
